تأملات فى آيــة اليوم...
ملعون! انهم لم يسخروا منه و لعنوه فقط ، بل لكنه لقي لعنة الموت بسب خطايانا. لقد فعل ما كان بشع ومخز؛ لقد مات على صليب — معلق على خشبة أمام حشد ساخر، بل أعدم مثل حثالة. لماذا؟ليقنعوا العالم انه ملعون من الله. لكن الجمال فى عاره وخزيه ان الله فعل ذلك لكى يفدينا. فسخرية ولعنة يسوع جلبت لنا الحرية من لعنة خطايانا. لقد اصبح لعنتنا لكي نصير بر الله (2 كورنثوس 5 : 21). المجد لله! المجد ليسوع! لقد افتدينا!
Thoughts on Today's Verse...
Cursed! Not just in the sense that he was mocked and his detractors cursed at him, but in the sense that he received the curse of death because of our sin. He did what was hideous and scandalous; he died on a Cross — hung to a tree in front of a jeering mob, executed like sub-human scum. Why? To try and convince the world God cursed him. But the beauty of his shame and disgrace is that God made his sacrifice for our redemption. Jesus' ridicule and curse bought us freedom from the curse of our sins. He became the curse for us so that we could "become the righteousness of God" (2 Corinthians 5:21). Praise God! Praise Jesus! We are redeemed!

آبانا القدير، لا نستطيع التظاهر حتى بفهم طرقك و فهم السبب وراء قيامك بتضحية رهيبة مثل هذه لكى تفدينى. ايها المخلص الغالى، لا نستطيع ان نتخيل ان تعلق امام حشد حاملا خطايا العالم كله, خاصة خطايانا. كل ما نستطيع فعله هو ان نسأل الروح القدس ان تجعل افكارنا وكلامنا تنقل امتنان قلوبنا بينما يتشفع لنا الآن. اشكرك! امجدك! لقد افتدينا! هللويا! آمين.
My Prayer...
Almighty and Abba Father, we can't pretend to fathom your ways and why you would require such a horrific sacrifice of yourself to redeem us. Precious Savior, we can't imagine what it was like to hang before a mob carrying the sin of the whole world — and especially our sins. All we know to do is to ask the Holy Spirit to help our words convey the gratitude of our hearts as he intercedes for us with you now. Thank you! Praise you! We are redeemed! Hallelujah! Amen.
