تأملات فى آيــة اليوم...
ما الذى يحدد قيمتنا المالية؟ هل نحسبها بالدولارات، ام الاملاك، ام الاستثمارات؟ يذكر بولس تيموثاوس ان المكسب الوحيد و المكسب الذي لا يمكن احصاءه يعبر عنه بمعادلة بسيطة جدا: صافى المكسب = (صفات الله) ْ (القناعة). ماذا سيحدث لو أدركنا ان الأغنياء الحقيقيين هم من لهم صفات الله الذين وجدوا القناعة و الاكتفاء في يسوع بغض النظر عن أحوالهم؟
Thoughts on Today's Verse...
What determines our financial worth? Do we compute it in terms of dollars, possessions, real estate, or investments? Paul reminded Timothy that ultimate gain, the gain of incalculable value, is really determined by a straightforward formula: genuine net worth = (godly character) X (contentment). What would happen if we realized that the truly wealthy were those with godly character who found contentment in Jesus regardless of their circumstances?

يا إلهى، يا من تنبع منك كل البركات، اعد ضبط قيمي من طمع هذا العالم لمجموعة مقدسة من القناعة المادية - حيث يوجد المكسب الحقيقي في الصفات الالهية و التشبه به و القناعة و الاكتفاء . قومني بالتقوى التى اظهرها يسوع فى حياته اليومية. علمنى القناعة التى لا يمكن ايجادها الا فيك. في اسم يسوع اصلى. آمين.
My Prayer...
O Lord God, the one from whom every blessing flows, readjust my values from the greed of this world to a holy set of financial convictions — true gain is found in godly character and genuine contentment. Conform my character to the godliness that Jesus demonstrated in his daily life. Teach me the contentment that can only be found in you. In Jesus' name, I pray. Amen.
