Though you have not seen [the resurrected Lord Jesus], you love him; and even though you do not see him now, you believe in him and are filled with an inexpressible and glorious joy, for you are receiving the goal of your faith, the salvation of your souls.
Glory in his holy name; let the hearts of those who seek the Lord rejoice.
For Christ died for sins once for all, the righteous for the unrighteous, to bring you to God.
The inhabitants of one city will go to another and say, "Let us go at once to entreat the Lord and seek the Lord Almighty. I myself am going."

[Paul spoke to the educated people of Athens and explained,] "God [made all people from one man] so that men would seek him and perhaps reach out for him and find him, though he is not far from each one of us."
Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen.
This is what the Lord says to the house of Israel: "Seek me and live; do not seek Bethel, do not go to Gilgal, do not journey to Beersheba."
Look to the Lord and his strength; seek his face always.
[Jesus said,] "By myself I can do nothing; I judge only as I hear, and my judgment is just, for I seek not to please myself but him who sent me."
Rise in the presence of the aged, show respect for the elderly and revere your God. I am the Lord.
God "will give to each person according to what he has done" (Psalm 62:12). To those who by persistence in doing good seek glory, honor and immortality, he will give eternal life.
But Jehoshaphat [King of Judah] also said to the king of Israel, "First seek the counsel of the Lord."
Blessed be your glorious name, and may it be exalted above all blessing and praise.
You, O God, do see trouble and grief; you consider it to take it in hand. The victim commits himself to you; you are the helper of the fatherless.
Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before him endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.
Without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.
Do not turn to mediums or seek out spiritists, for you will be defiled by them. I am the Lord your God.
Nobody should seek his own good, but the good of others.
Make it your ambition to lead a quiet life, to mind your own business and to work with your hands, just as we told you, so that your daily life may win the respect of outsiders and so that you will not be dependent on anybody.
We were born only yesterday and know nothing, and our days on earth are but a shadow.
Teach us to number our days aright, that we may gain a heart of wisdom.
Stand up and praise the Lord your God, who is from everlasting to everlasting. Blessed be your glorious name, and may it be exalted above all blessing and praise.
Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know.
Show me your ways, O Lord, teach me your paths; guide me in your truth and teach me, for you are God my Savior, and my hope is in you all day long.
