I will praise God's name in song and glorify him with thanksgiving.
For this is what the high and exalted One says — he who lives forever, whose name is holy: “I live in a high and holy place, but also with the one who is contrite and lowly in spirit, to revive the spirit of the lowly and to revive the heart of the contrite.”
Do everything without complaining or arguing, so that you may become blameless and pure, children of God without fault in a crooked and depraved generation, in which you shine like stars in the universe.
For everything that was written in the past was written to teach us, so that through endurance and the encouragement of the Scriptures we might have hope.
The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.
You will be made rich in every way so that you can be generous on every occasion, and through us your generosity will result in thanksgiving to God.
Be sure to fear the Lord and serve him faithfully with all your heart; consider what great things he has done for you.
Be joyful always.
To the only wise God be glory forever through Jesus Christ! Amen.
Satisfy us in the morning with your unfailing love, that we may sing for joy and be glad all our days.
God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.
May the righteous be glad and rejoice before God; may they be happy and joyful.
Rejoice in the Lord, you who are righteous, and praise his holy name.
I am suffering ... Yet I am not ashamed, because I know whom I have believed, and am convinced that he is able to guard what I have entrusted to him for that day.
I eagerly expect and hope that I will in no way be ashamed, but will have sufficient courage so that now as always Christ will be exalted in my body, whether by life or by death.
We who are strong ought to bear with the failings of the weak and not to please ourselves.
We ought always to thank God for you, brothers, and rightly so, because your faith is growing more and more, and the love every one of you has for each other is increasing.
[Paul shared this thanksgiving with his son in the faith, Timothy.] I thank God, whom I serve, as my forefathers did, with a clear conscience, as night and day I constantly remember you in my prayers.
In all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.
Thanks be to God, who always leads us in triumphal procession in Christ and through us spreads everywhere the fragrance of the knowledge of him.
For I will pour water on the thirsty land, and streams on the dry ground; I will pour out my Spirit on your offspring, and my blessing on your descendants.
God's voice thunders in marvelous ways; he does great things beyond our understanding.
The memory of the righteous will be a blessing, but the name of the wicked will rot.
We wait for the blessed hope of the glorious appearing of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ.
Blessed is the man who perseveres under trial, because when he has stood the test, he will receive the crown of life that God has promised to those who love him.
Paul and Barnabas remained in Antioch, where they and many others taught and preached the word of the Lord.
But remember the Lord your God, for it is he who gives you the ability to produce wealth, and so confirms his covenant, which he swore to your forefathers, as it is today.
For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened.
If we confess our sins, [God] is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.
I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of Egypt, out of the land of slavery. You shall have no other gods before me.
