对今日诗句的想法
努力、汗水和奉献，似乎已经成为了西方基督教的亵渎之言。圣灵以真理向这个世代滥用恩典的人们伸手，并且提醒我们在这世上的人际关系——即使在教会的人，也需要付出大量的努力、坚定的爱、无私的奉献和公义的决心。如果我们阅读约翰福音17章，耶稣为教会合一的祷告，我们又怎能不用尽全力来保证基督身体——教会的合一，以及教会弟兄姐妹间彼此相爱、忍耐的关系呢？正因是主耶稣的汗水和宝血为我们付了救赎的代价，那么当我们必须全力以赴保守主的大家庭合一的时候，我们又怎能畏缩不前呢？！
Thoughts on Today's Verse...
Effort, sweat, and dedication seem to have become the profanity of Western Christianity. To our age of grace-abusers and grace-cheapeners who don't see acts of obedient faith as necessary to authentic discipleship, the Holy Spirit reaches out with his truth. The Spirit reminds us that relationships on earth, even those in Jesus' family, require patient effort, gritty love, personal sacrifice, gracious forgiveness, and rigorous determination. If we read Jesus' prayer for unity in John 17:20-21, how could we not make every effort to keep his Body unified and be loving and patient with each other? Since Jesus purchased our salvation with his sweat, grace, and blood, how can we balk when our passionate efforts are required to preserve the unity and peace of Jesus' family?

慈爱的天父啊，请饶恕我对待他人的不耐烦，以及对人缺乏饶恕的心。愿你大大地感动住在我里面的圣灵，让圣灵帮助我勒住自己的舌头，柔软我的心，帮助我更加努力地对待那些需要你祝福的人们。主啊，愿你使用我成为一个使人和平的人，奉主耶稣基督名求，阿们！
My Prayer...
Dear Heavenly Father, forgive my impatience with others and my lack of forgiveness for them. Holy Spirit, change my heart to do better in these things. Stir your Spirit within me to curb my tongue, soften my heart, and extend more effort to others who need your blessing. Please, dear Father, use me to be a peacemaker in your Kingdom. I ask this, O Lord, in Jesus' name. Amen.
