Was ist in den Zeiten der Unsicherheit das feste Fundament deines Glaubens? Wer weiß wirklich, wohin die ganzen Umbrüche, Unruhen und Unsicherheiten führen? Bei wem findest du die Lösung deiner schwierigsten Problemen? Für Daniel und seine Freunde gab es nur eine sichere und wahre Antwort: Der HERR, Israels Gott. Die Antwort war nicht bei den sogenannten Weisen der damaligen Kultur, auch nicht bei den östlichen Religionen oder bei den Super-Geistlichen zu finden. Die Antwort war allein in Gott.
Thoughts on Today's Verse...
Daniel spoke the ageless truth to King Nebuchadnezzar when he wanted his dream interpreted. The question for us is straightforward: "Do we believe what Daniel said?" What is the bedrock of our faith in uncertain times? Who knows where all the upheaval, tumult, and uncertainty are truly heading? In whom can we find the solution to our most perplexing problems? Where can our hearts find comfort in times of political upheaval and conflict? For Daniel and his friends, there was one solid and accurate answer: the Lord God of Israel. It wasn't in the so-called wise teachers or sages of the day. It wasn't in the religions of the East. It wasn't in the super-spiritualists. It was and still is, in the Lord God alone.
Mein Gebet
Lieber Vater, du bist der einzig wahre und lebendige Gott! Mit Nichts und Niemanden ist deine Pracht, deine Gerechtigkeit und deine Majestät vergleichbar. Dir und nur dir allein gebührt Preiß, Ehre und Herrlichkeit. Ich vertraue dir die Führung meines Lebens an, leite mich bei dem Verständnis, das ich brauche, um deinen Willen zu tun. Im Namen des Herrn Jesus, bete ich. Amen.
My Prayer...
Dear Father, you are the One True and Living God! There is no one else and no other thing that can compare to you in splendor, righteousness, and majesty. To you, Father belongs all praise, honor, and glory. I trust you to lead my life and guide me into the understanding I need to do your will. I ask, dear Father, that you intervene in our world and call the cultures of nations and their leaders back to you! In the name of the Lord Jesus, I pray. Amen.
