Gedanken zum Vers des Tages
Wann hast du zum letzten Mal gebetet und anstatt etwas zu erbitten, Gott nur gedankt und ihn gelobt? Warum nutzt du nicht heute diesen Tag als Tag des Dankes und des Lobes? Bitte um nichts, vielmehr lobe den Vater und danke ihm! Preise ihn für den, der er ist, für das, was er getan hat und für das, was er noch tun wird! Danke ihm dafür, dass er dich gesegnet, gerettet und in seine Herrlichkeit geführt hat! Möge heute ein Tag des Dankes und Lobes sein.
Thoughts on Today's Verse...
When was the last time you prayed and didn't request anything from God? You simply thanked and praised God. Why not use today as a day of thanks and praise? Don't ask for anything; commit to offering praise and thanksgiving to the Father without requesting anything in return! Praise him for who he is, what he has done, and what he is going to do! Thank him for blessing you, saving you, and bringing you into his glorious future! Let today be a day of thanks and praise to "Our God and Father" to whom belong "glory forever and ever. Amen."
Mein Gebet
Lieber Vater, du bist jeglichem Lobeswort meiner Vorstellungskraft und jedem sprachlichen Ausdruck meines Dankes würdig. Du bist herrlich, majestätisch, heilig, mächtig und großartig. Du bist geduldig, vergebend, aufopferungsvoll, liebevoll und zärtlich. Du übersteigst meine Vorstellungskraft und bist mir näher als mein eigener Atemzug. Deine Größe schöpft meinen Wortschatz aus. Deine Großzügigkeit überwältigt mein Herz. Mögest du in all meinen Gedanken, in Tat und Wort verherrlicht werden. In Jesu Namen preise ich dich. Amen.
My Prayer...
You are worthy, dear Father, of every word of praise my imagination can find and every word of thanks my tongue can pronounce. You are glorious, majestic, holy, mighty, and awesome. You are patient, forgiving, sacrificial, loving, and tender. You are more than I can imagine and yet closer to me than my very breath. Your greatness exhausts my vocabulary, while your generosity overwhelms my heart. Please be glorified in my every thought, deed, and word. In Jesus' name, I praise you. Amen.
