Gedanken zum Vers des Tages
Trockenheit oder Dürre – ob geistlich oder physisch – laugt den Geist aus und bringt alles Lebendige zum Verwelken. Lasst uns heute unsere Herzen vereinen – zehntausende davon –, um Gott um zwei Dinge zu bitten: (1), dass er den Ländern, die von Dürre und harten Zeiten heimgesucht werden, Regen und Erfrischung schenkt; und (2), dass er allen seinen Dienern, die ausgelaugt und wegen ihrer Schwierigkeiten, Anforderungen, Versuchungen, Entmutigungen und Erfolglosigkeiten kurz vor dem Aufgeben sind, erfrischende Erneuerung schenkt. Lasst uns dafür beten, dass heute ein Tag der Erfrischung und Erneuerung beginnt – für unsere Welt und für Gottes Volk!
Thoughts on Today's Verse...
Whether spiritual or physical, dryness is sapping to the spirit and wilting to all living things. Let's join our hearts together today, ten of thousands strong,* praying that God will do two things:
- That God will bring rain and refreshment on those lands that are parched and where times are hard.
- That God will refresh all his servants who are discouraged and close to giving up, trapped in difficulties, challenges, temptations, discouragements, and failures.
Let's pray for today to be a day of refreshment and the beginning of a revival for our world and among God's people!

Mein Gebet
Herr, allmächtiger Gott, der du mehr zu tun vermagst, als wir uns erbitten oder vorstellen können, wir vereinigen heute unsere Stimmen und Herzen und bitten dich um Erfrischung für alle Länder und für alle Herzen, die verdorrt und verwelkt sind. Mögest du den Teilen unserer Welt deinen Regen spenden, die von anhaltender Dürre betroffen sind. Weiter bitte ich dich, lieber Vater, schenke den Gemeinden unserer Welt und den Herzen deiner Diener Erneuerung. Gemeinsam bitten wir darum im Namen Jesu Christi, unserem Herrn und König. Amen.
My Prayer...
Lord God Almighty; you can do more than we ask or imagine. We join our voices and hearts today, asking you for a time of refreshment for every land, parched heart, and wilted spirit. Please send your rains to the drought-laden parts of our world. And dear Father, please bring revival by pouring out the Holy Spirit in a fresh way throughout our world, in our churches, and into the hearts of those who serve you. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and King. Amen.
