Diese Aussage ist zugleich eine Erinnerung an die herrliche Gnade Gottes und auch an die Notwendigkeit, diese Gnade mit anderen zu teilen. Das Leben ist ein derart kostbares Geschenk, dass es sehr schade wäre, wenn es jemand, den wir kennen und lieben, verpassen würde. Gott hat das Leben seines Sohnes preisgegeben, damit wir — indem wir ihn finden — auch an seinem Leben teilhaben können.
Thoughts on Today's Verse...
This statement is both a reminder of God's glorious grace and also of our need to share that grace with others. Life is such a precious gift, it would be a shame for anyone we know and love to miss out. God gave up the life of his Son so that in finding him, we too could share in his life.
Mein Gebet
Vater aller Nationen, mögest du das Verlangen in deinem Volk erwecken, deine Gnade in allen Sprachen jedem Stamm, allen Nationen und Völkern mitzuteilen. Befähige uns durch deinen Geist, das Evangelium von Jesus mutig und respektvoll einer Welt mitzuteilen, die ihn nicht kennt. Gebrauche uns dazu, um anderen eine Hilfe zu sein, das Leben in dem Sohn zu erhalten! Durch den Namen Jesus, deinen Sohn, beten wir. Amen.
My Prayer...
Father of all nations, resurrect in your people a desire to spread your grace to every language, tribe, nation, and people. Empower us with your Spirit so that we will speak the Gospel of Jesus with boldness and respect to a world who does not know him. Use us to help others come to life in the Son! Through the name of Jesus your Son, we pray. Amen.
