Gedanken zum Vers des Tages
Moment mal! Manche meiner Tage sind überhaupt nicht gut! Manchmal läuft alles schief bei mir! In den schlimmsten Momenten meines Lebens haben mich einige meiner Freunde verlassen. Wie kann ich mich da ALLEZEIT freuen? Doch der Vater mahnt mich, “ganz einfach, mein Kind”. “Zum einen bedeutet Freude mehr als nur ein stets glückliches Gefühl zu haben. Vielmehr ist sie eine tiefe, anhaltende Wahrnehmung, im Einklang mit Gottes Gnade und Ziel zu sein. Zum anderen ist es so, dass — egal wo du dich befindest und wie hoffnungslos alles erscheinen mag — dein Lebensziel Herrlichkeit ist – meine Herrlichkeit!” Angesichts dieser unglaublichen Wahrheit erscheint alles andere fade, wirklichkeitsfremd und unerheblich.
Thoughts on Today's Verse...
Now wait just a minute. I have some pretty sorry days! Things don't always go well for me! Some of my friends have abandoned and betrayed me in my worst moments. How can I be joyful, ALWAYS? The Father reminds me:
"It's simple, my child. Please understand that joy is more than always feeling happy. Instead, joy is a deep abiding sense of my grace in your life as you live for my purposes. No matter where you are and no matter how hopeless things may seem now, your life is bound for glory — my glory!"
In the light of God's incredible truth for us, all other things seem bland, out of touch, and insignificant — even those hard times and painful moments. We can rejoice always because we are God's... ALWAYS!
Mein Gebet
Oh HERR, bitte schenk mir eine klarere Wahrnehmung deiner Gnade und deines Sieges. Bitte stärke meinen Glauben, um der Wahrheit deines Sieges über die Hölle Vertrauen zu schenken. Bitte erfülle mich mit deinem Geist und bringe deine Frucht in meinem Leben hervor. Bitte fülle meinen Mund mit freudigem Preis für alles, was du für mich getan hast. Im Namen Jesu bete ich. Amen.
My Prayer...
O Lord, please give me a clearer sense of your glory and victory. Please empower my faith to trust the truth of your conquest over sin, satan, death, and hell. Please fill me with your Spirit and bring forth your fruit in my life, especially joy. Please fill my mouth with joyful praise for all that you have done for me and promised to me. In Jesus' name, I joyfully thank you and pray. Amen.
