Während du am Ende des einen Jahres stehst und auf den morgigen Tag als den Beginn eines neuen Jahres blickst, bitte bedenke eines: Bevor Vorsätze für das neue Jahr gemacht und gebrochen werden und bevor dieses Jahr zu Ende geht, verkünde es dem Herrn als erste Priorität und nehme es dir vom Herzen vor: "Ich aber und mein Haus, wir wollen dem Herrn dienen!" (Josua 24,15b)
Thoughts on Today's Verse...
As we stand at the end of one year and look over tomorrow into the beginning of a new one, let's remember that before our New Year's resolutions are made and broken, and before this year has come to an end, we can and we must declare to the Lord and in our hearts, "As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord..." (Joshua 24:15) as our first priority!
