Pensamientos sobre el Verso de Hoy
¿Cuál es la base de nuestra felicidad? Si depende de nuestras circunstancias, todos tendremos problemas porque tarde o temprano nos encontraremos en dificultades. Pablo dijo que había descubierto el secreto de vivir por encima de las circunstancias que la vida nos trae. Su secreto fue Jesucristo. Jesús fue su seguridad, pues que a pesar de los problemas no estaba solo. No importa cuán difíciles que se ponían las circunstancias, estas dificultades no eran permanentes. A pesar de la dureza del momento, en cada momento Jesús le proveía la fuerza para vencer. Pablo esta igual de seguro que Jesús nos dará también la misma fuerza y victoria.
Thoughts on Today's Verse...
What's the basis of our happiness? If it's our outward circumstances, we're all in trouble because sooner or later, these aren't going to be too good. Paul said he had learned the secret to living above life's circumstances. That secret was Jesus Christ. Jesus was his assurance that no matter how difficult our problems might be, they were not permanent. No matter how hard life was, Jesus would give him the strength to persevere. Paul is just as sure that Jesus will do this for you and me!

Dios de gloria y fuerza, gracias por las historias de tu gran poder que se encuentran en la Biblia. Me dan coraje y esperanza cuando tengo que enfrentar mis problemas. Creo que Jesús me puede salvar, sostener y apoyar en todos mis dificultades actuales. Perdóname por las veces que no me he acercado a ti cuando me encontraba en dificultades. Oh Señor, necesito la fuerza, consuelo y presencia de Cristo hoy. En el nombre de mi Salvador Jesús, oro, Amén.
My Prayer...
God of glory and might, thank you for the stories of your great power in the Bible. They give me courage and hope when I face my problems. I believe Jesus can deliver me, sustain me, and uphold me through my difficulties today. Please forgive me for those times when I didn't turn to you and honestly talk to you about my struggles. O Lord, I need the strength, the comfort, and the presence of Christ today. In the name of my Savior Jesus, I pray. Amen.
