Pensamientos sobre el Verso de Hoy
Somos creados a la imagen de Dios. No solo el hombre. No solo la mujer. Los dos de igual forma son reflejo de Dios. Increíblemente, no solo era cierto antes de la entrada del pecado en el mundo, sino también después. Cuando Dios nos forma en el vientre de nuestras madres (Salmos 139:13-16) nos hace a su imagen (Génesis 9:6). Como las personas son preciosas para Dios, porque reflejamos a nuestro Creador, cada persona tiene valor. Ninguno debe ser denigrado, menospreciado o maldecido (Santiago 3:9-12). Las personas son preciosas no solo ante Dios, sino ante nosotros también porque en alguna manera especial reflejan Su imagen.
Thoughts on Today's Verse...
We were made in God's image. Not just the man, the male. Not just the woman, the female. Both males and females are made in God's image! They are each precious to God. Incredibly, this is not just true before the Fall before sin entered the world and made a mess of everything. When God made us and knew us in the womb of our birth mother (Psalm 139:13-16), he made us in his image (Genesis 9:6). Because people are precious to God because we each reflect something of the character of our Creator, each person is to be valued. None is to be denigrated, belittled, or cursed (James 3:9-12). People are precious, not only to God but also to us because, in some special way, each of us reflects the multifaceted nature and image of God.

Creador Todopoderoso, ayúdame a valorar a cada persona que encuentre hoy porque soy consciente que has hecho a cada uno para reflejar tu carácter y naturaleza. A la vez, bendíceme con crecimiento espiritual mientras obedezco a tu Espíritu y mientras me transformas para ser más como tú cada día. En el nombre de Jesús oro, Amen.
My Prayer...
Almighty Creator, please help me value each person I meet today and each day going forward. I want to value them because I am consciously aware that you have individually and uniquely made each of them to reflect your character and nature. At the same time, bless me with spiritual growth as I consciously submit myself to your Spirit as you transform me to be more like you each day (2 Corinthians 3:18). In Jesus' name, I pray. Amen.
