Pensamientos sobre el Verso de Hoy
¡El no vacila! ¿No es un gran consuelo? Dios es consistente y dentro de esa consistencia, da buenas dádivas. El creó el mundo majestuoso y nos lo dio para que lo usemos. Cuando el pecado ahogaba la vida, Dios nos dio la promesa y la hizo realidad por medio de Abraham y los israelitas. Cuando la muerte nos reclamaba, nos dio a Jesús, crucificado y resucitado, para darnos la seguridad de la victoria sobre el pecado y la muerte. No hay sombra en esa luz brillante, y ¡tenemos la seguridad de que esa luz seguirá brillando!
Thoughts on Today's Verse...
He doesn't waver! Isn't that comforting? God is consistent, and in his consistency, he gives good gifts. He created the world in all its majesty and gave it to us to use. When sin strangled life, God gave us the promise and executed it through Abraham and the Israelites. When death claimed us, he gave us Jesus, crucified and resurrected, to assure us of our victory over sin and death. There is no shadow in that brilliant light, and we are assured that light will keep shining!
Mi oración
Dios todopoderoso, bondadoso y generoso, gracias por darme tu gracia constantemente, tus dones, tu amor, y tus promesas. No tengo a nada ni nadie que se compare contigo. Gracias por todos tus dones en el nombre de Jesús. Amén.

Gracious and generous God Almighty, thank you for consistently giving me your grace, gifts, love, and promises. I have no one; I have nothing that compares to you. Thank you for all your many gifts in Jesus' name! Amen.
