Pensamientos sobre el Verso de Hoy
¿No sería maravilloso que no fuera necesario tener leyes para controlar a la gente? Es exactamente lo que Pablo dice en este pasaje. Tratar a nuestro prójimo como queremos que nos trate. Amarles cómo queremos ser amados. Si lo practicáramos no le haríamos nada que los perjudicara, mucho menos violar un mandamiento.
Thoughts on Today's Verse...
Wouldn't it be great if we didn't have to have laws to keep people in line! That's the point behind Paul's message here. Treat our neighbors like we would like to be treated. Love them as we like to be loved. If we do that, then we're not going to do anything that would hurt them, much less violate a command of law!

Dios quien dio a Moisés la ley en tabletas de piedra, te pido que escribas tu carácter y voluntad en mi corazón como testimonio de tu justicia y gracia. Ayúdame a pensar con cuidado en los sentimientos de mi prójimo antes de actuar o reaccionar a ellos, no solo hoy sino todos los días. En el nombre de tu Hijo, Jesús, oro, Amén.

God who gave Moses the Law on tablets of stone, please write your character and will on my heart that I might be a living stone, testifying to your righteousness and grace. Help me to think more carefully about how my neighbors feel before I act or react to them — not just today, but every day! In the name of your Son, Jesus I pray. Amen.
