Pensamientos sobre el Verso de Hoy
¿No sería maravilloso ver a 3000 personas añadidas al pueblo de Dios hoy? Los que aceptaron el mensaje de Pedro en Pentecostés fueron bautizados y la iglesia primitiva arrancó increíblemente. Ese mismo día, un grupo pequeño de seguidores de Jesús se había reunido para orar tal como habían hecho por varios días después de la ascensión de Jesús. Al caer la noche en Jerusalén, ¡el número saltó a más de 3000! Hechos 2 es un pasaje de suma importancia, mostrándonos el mensaje de salvación, lo que la respuesta de corazones abiertos debe ser, y como el Espíritu Santo utiliza este mensaje sencillo para traer corazones sensibles a la salvación y la comunidad. ¿Por qué no lees Hechos 2 hoy? Thoughts on Today's Verse...
Wow! Wouldn't it have been great to see 3,000 people baptized and added to God's people today? Those who accepted Peter's message at Pentecost were baptized, and the beginning of the early church started with an incredible celebration of grace. (South of the Temple Mount are as many as 350 mikvah pools where these people would have been baptized.) Earlier that day, only a small group of Jesus' closest followers had met to pray, just as they had done for several days since Jesus' ascension. As night fell that day in Jerusalem, the number had jumped to over 3,000! Acts 2 stands as a hallmark passage showing us the message of salvation, the response of open hearts, and how the Holy Spirit uses this simple message to bring seeking hearts to salvation and community. Why don't you read Acts 2 today? Jot down what Peter says about Jesus. Notice what Peter tells the people to do to be saved. The Gospel is still just as simple, so let's not only study it; let's share it, praying for God to bring revival to our times and in our broken land!

My Prayer...
Holy and Most High God, please breathe your Holy Spirit out upon us. We ask that you bring true revival today to our churches and salvation for millions who are lost in our world. I pray this, in Jesus' name. Amen.
