Pensamientos sobre el Verso de Hoy
De este Salmo que comienza en deseperación, encontramos un 'crescendo'de fe. Aunque las cosas parezcan dudosas, Dios no abandona a sus hijos. Aquellos que honran a Dios no serán olvidados. Lejos de ignorar a sus hijos, Dios ha recogido su bondad la cual volcará generosamente en ellos para demostrarles que son suyos. Aquellos que se refugian en El serán protegidos y bendecidos. Para aquellos que están del lado de la resurrección de Jesús, esta promesa de bendición y reivindicación toma un sentido más profundo y una seguridad más certera!
Thoughts on Today's Verse...
Out of this psalm which begins in desperation, we find a crescendo of faith. While things may seem bleak, God will not abandon his children. Those who reverence God will not be forgotten. Far from ignoring his children, God has stored up his goodness which he will generously pour out on them to show that they are his. Those who take refuge in him will be protected and blessed. For those on this side of Jesus' resurrection, this promise of blessing and vindication take on added depth and meaning as well as deeper assurance!

Oh Señor, Dios de Abraham, Moisés, Rut, David y Ester, te alabo por tu fidelidad a través de los siglos. Te agradezco por la gran herencia de fe que me muestras y en la que puedo confiar para que me recuerdes en Tu gracia, me protejas con tu poder, y me des valor para asirme a tu fe en medio de problemas y tribulaciones y tentaciones. En el nombre de Jesús oro y pongo mi confianza en Ti. Amén .
My Prayer...
O Lord, God of Abraham, Moses, Ruth, David, and Esther, I praise you for your proven faithfulness through the centuries. I thank you for the great heritage of faith that shows me that I can trust you to remember me with your grace, protect me by your power, and bless me with your goodness. Please give me courage to hang on to my faith no matter the trials and temptations I face. In Jesus' name I pray and place my trust in you. Amen.
