Pensamientos sobre el Verso de Hoy
¿No sería fantástico si pudiésemos tirar abajo todos los muros que nos dividen los de raza, economía o sexo? El Apóstol Pablo pasó toda su vida intentándolo y lo hacía para llevar a la gente a Jesús y su cruz. No hay lugares de superioridad o inferioridad al pie de la cruz, solo hay lugar para los que descubren el poder de Dios que se demostró en el sacrificio y amor de Dios aun cuando fue atacado por la crueldad humana. Cuando las fuerzas del egoísmo humano tratan de dividirnos, debemos recordar que en Jesús y solo en Jesús podemos ser uno.
Thoughts on Today's Verse...
Wouldn't it be great if we could tear down all the walls that divide us — racial, social, economic, gender, and political. The apostle Paul spent his entire life trying to do just that: to tear down the walls that divided people by bringing them to Jesus and the cross. There are no positions of superiority or inferiority at the foot of the cross, only a place for those who discover God's might displayed in sacrifice and God's love displayed even when under attack at the hands of human cruelty. While the forces of culture and human selfishness are always finding ways to divide us, we must remember that in Jesus, and only in Jesus, can we be one.

Perdóneme Oh Dios cuando he permitido que el prejuicio y la sospecha me quitaran la oportunidad de gozar de la comunión plena con todos tus hijos. Oro para que mi vida sea un ejemplo de redención y unidad mientras busco amar a tus hijos como tú los amas. En el nombre de Jesús, cuya oración antes de morir fue para la unidad, oro Amén.
My Prayer...
Forgive me, O God, when I have let prejudice and suspicion keep me from fully enjoying fellowship with those whom you have claimed as your children. I pray that my life will be an example of redemption and unity as I seek to love your children as you do. In the name of Jesus, whose dying prayer was for unity I pray. Amen.
