Pensamientos sobre el Verso de Hoy
A muchos no les gusta la palabra "ley" y les resulta difícil escuchar a este pasaje. Pero nos es preciso reconocer que la meta del nuevo convenio de gracia y el don del Espíritu es que la ley esté escrita en nuestros corazones y la demostremos en nuestras vidas. Dios ya no quiere que este escrita en tablas de piedra. Jeremías profetizó que un día el foco de atención del pueblo de Dios estaría en hacer la voluntad de Él. Una pasión para amar las cosas que ama nuestro Padre y odiar las cosas que odia.
Thoughts on Today's Verse...
Too many of us are paranoid about the word law and find it hard to hear a scripture like this. But we must recognize that the goal of the New Covenant of grace and the gift of the Spirit is that God's law is written on our hearts and demonstrated in our lives. God is not concerened that it be written on tablets of stone. Jeremiah prophesied of such a day when the focus of God's people would be their desire to do God's will — a passion to love the things our Father loves and despise the things he despises.
Mi oración
Abba Padre, sí quiero hacer tu voluntad. Quiero agradecerte, glorificarte y guiar a los demás a ti. Dame el entendimiento espiritual para conocer tu voluntad y el coraje espiritual para cumplir con ella hoy. Quiero que tu carácter y justicia le enseñen a mi corazón cuando esté siendo tentado por Satanás. Humíllame con ternura cuando me equivoco o cuando pierdo el camino. El en nombre poderoso de Jesús oro, Amén.
My Prayer...
Abba Father, I do want to do your will. I want to please you, glorify you, and lead others to you. Give me spiritual discernment to know your will and spiritual courage to do it today. I want your character and righteousness to inform my heart when I am tempted by Satan not to live for you. Humble me gently when I am wrong or have lost my way. In the mighty name of Jesus I pray. Amen.
