La gente sabia no se ve obligada a probar su sabiduría faltándole el respeto a los demás. Lo que hacen es guardar silencio y dejar que sus vidas demuestren lo que es bueno, honorable, justo y verdadero. En un mundo lleno de sarcasmo y una cultura atraída por las personas que pueden quebrantar a otras con respuestas afiladas y certeras, nosotros estamos llamados a traer bendiciones con nuestras palabras.
Thoughts on Today's Verse...
Wise folks don't have to prove their wisdom by disrespecting others and putting them down. Instead, they hold their tongues and let their lives speak what is good, honorable, righteous, and true. In a world of sarcasm and in a culture that is attracted to the person who can put down others with quick and razor-sharp "put downs," we are called to bring a blessing with our words (Ephesians 4:29).

Santo Padre, dame sabiduría en mi hablar. Que sea una bendición a los demás y fuente de alabanza a ti. En el nombre de Jesús oro, Amén.

Holy Father, give me wisdom in the way I use my speech. May it be a blessing to others and a source of praise to you. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen.
