Pensamientos sobre el Verso de Hoy
Para los cristianos, no hay un "ocultarse del mundo". Habiendo sido rescatados de las tinieblas, debemos dejar que nuestra luz brille. Eso a veces significa que otros vean la luz de Dios reflejada en nosotros y que aprendan a glorificar a Dios por medio nuestro. Otras veces significa que sobresalgamos en un mundo de tinieblas y que nos convirtamos en blancos debido a nuestra fe. De cualquier forma, no hay lugar para escondernos. Somos luz en un mundo de oscuridad, no podemos evitar brillar.
Thoughts on Today's Verse...
For followers of Jesus, there is no playing hide and seek with the world. Having been rescued from darkness, we must let our light shine. This isn't a suggestion but the command of our Lord and Savior, Christ Jesus! Letting our lights shine sometimes means that others see God's light reflected in us and learn to glorify God through us. At other times, however, we stand out in a world of darkness and become targets because of our faith. Even under attack, however, we can be a beacon of hope for those searching for a way out of their darkness. Either way, there is no place for us to hide. We are Jesus' light to a world of darkness; we must shine!

Oh Dios Santo, por favor dame fuerza para que con innegable coraje y con la compasión de Jesús pueda mostrar tu luz al mundo. En el nombre de Jesús, la luz del mundo, oro. Amen.

O Holy God, please strengthen me so that with undaunted courage and compassion, I might display Jesus' light to the lost and dark world around me. In the name of Jesus, the Light of life, I pray. Amen.
