اندیشه ها در مورد آیه امروز...
هنگامیکه ما به صلیب عیسی فکر میکنیم، نباید دو کلمهٔ «حادثهٔ دردناک» را به آن مربوط سازیم. پطرس این مطلب را بوضوح بیان میکند که در واقعه صلیب، دو جریان جداگانه قدرت، به هم پیوستند. شریر از راههای خودش، عیسی را به پای صلیب برد. خدا نیز بر اساس طرح و برنامه خودش، اجازه داد که مصلوب شدن عیسی، برای نجات ما اتفاق بیفتد. صلیب، یک سانحه نبود. آنچه که جهنم برای شکست نهایی ما در نظر داشت، خدا برای رهایی و پیروزی ما از آن استفاده کرد. بدترین و بهترینها به هم ملحق شدند. البته که صلیب، پاسخ نهایی در این جنگ نبود؛ بلکه قبر خالی و خداوند قیام کرده، نتیجه نهایی این نبرد هستند. ما پیروزمندانی هستیم که این فیض را دریافت کرده ایم، فیضی که برایش بهای سنگین و دردناکی داده شد، و به آن طرز بیرحمانه بوسیله بزرگترین دشمن ما، ترتیب داده شد، و با پیروزی عیسی بر مرگ، تضمین شد.
Thoughts on Today's Verse...
When we think of the Cross, we must never associate the words "tragic accident" with it. In this message at the first Pentecost following Jesus' crucifixion and resurrection, Peter insisted that two separate streams of power converged at the Cross.
- Evil had its way and brought the Son of God to the Cross through the work of evil men.
- God purposed and planned the evil intentions behind Jesus' crucifixion would become his way of redeeming, cleansing, and saving us.
The Cross was no accident. What the forces hell had intended as our ultimate defeat, God used to bring us redemption and triumph. The best and worst of all things collided. Of course, the Cross wasn't the final answer in this battle; the empty tomb and the resurrected Jesus were. We are the victorious recipients of this grace, paid at such an agonizing cost and administered cruelly by our greatest adversary. Yet God purposed the cross to secure our salvation through Jesus' triumph over the grave.

ای خدای قدوس سپاسگزارم برای نقشه تو که به من اطمینان میدهد که گناهانم بخشوده شده و آینده من، با تو تضمین شده است. بخاطر هزینه ای که برای اجرای این نقشه متحمل شدی، از تو ممنونم. برای پیروزی تو بر شرارت جهنم و بر کار شریران، سپاسگزارم. من، تو را بخاطر خودت و برای تمام کارهایی که در حق من انجام داده ای، بشدت دوست دارم. به اسم عیسی دعا میکنم. آمین.
My Prayer...
Holy God, thank you for having a plan for us, to forgive our sins and secure our future with you. Thank you for paying the price for that plan to work. Thank you for triumphing over hell's wickedness and the work of evil people. We love you for all you are and all you have done for us in Jesus, the cross, and the empty tomb. We pray in our Savior's mighty name. Amen.
