موسی، قوم اسرائیل را از مصر خارج نموده و ایشان را در بیابان رهبری نمود، اما بخاطر گناهی که مرتکب شد، داخل سرزمین موعود نشد. با این وجود، در طی آن سالها، موسی مشغول تربیت و آماده کردن کسی بود که می توانست آن کاری را که خود او قادر به انجامش نبود، انجام دهد. آن شخص، یوشع بود. شما در حال حاضر مشغول تعلیم دادن، شکل دادن، تشویق نمودن، انگیزه بخشیدن ، و فرا خواندن چه کسی هستید، کسی که به جای شما، ان کاری را که نمی توانید، انجام دهد؟ چه کسی بعد از شما، رویاهای تان را فراتر از انچه که شما بتوانید، تحقق خواهد بخشید؟ یوشع شما، چه کسی است؟
Thoughts on Today's Verse...
Moses led the people of Israel out of Egypt and in the wilderness but did not get to enter into the Promised Land because of his sin. Yet, for all those years, thankfully, Moses nurtured and prepared the person who would do what he was not allowed to do: lead Israel victoriously into the Promised Land. Joshua was Israel's new leader for this critical part of the journey and had been groomed, prepared, and shown how to lead by Moses. Joshua is our reminder that we need to be investing in someone who can do what we cannot or will not be able to do! Who are you training, molding, encouraging, motivating, equipping, affirming, and calling to do what you won't be able to do? What successor do you have to extend the trajectory of your dreams? Who is your Joshua?
دعای من
ای خدای قدوس و عادل، لطفاً مرا به سوی آن افرادی رهبری نما که تو می خواهی من زندگیم را با آنان قسمت کنم و میراث ایمان به تو را به آنان منتقل نمایم. خواهش میکنم چشمانم را بگشایی تا آنان را ببینم. به من توانایی بده تا در حضور آنان، با صداقت و با شهامت زندگی کنم. در نام عیسی دعا میکنم. آمین.
My Prayer...
Holy and Righteous God, please lead me to those with whom you want me to share my life and pass on your faith heritage. Please open my eyes to see them. Please give me the strength to live honestly and courageously before them and do all I can to prepare them. In Jesus' name, I pray. Amen.
