اندیشه ها در مورد آیه امروز...
در زمانهایی که مردم ترسیده اند یا بخاطر حادثه ای ناگوار دچار رنج و عذاب شده اند، این سؤال دائماً به ذهنشان خطور میکند،« خدا در این واقعه کجا است؟» ما غالباً در حاشیه زندگی خود، از خدا غافلل میمانیم و او را ترک میکنیم و تنها زمانی بدنبال او میگردیم که نومید و عاجز هستیم و راه دیگری برایمان باقی نمانده. وقتی که همه چیز بر وفق مراد است، ما ندرتاً میگوییم که« خدا در این واقعه کجا است؟ او درست همین جا است و دارد ما را برکت میدهد! بیایید خدا را بخاطر نیکویی اش شکر کنیم!» خداوند صمیمانه از شما می خواهد که به سوی او برگردید و او را بطلبید، چه در زمانهای بد و چه در زمانهای خوب. ما نه تنها او را خواهیم یافت؛ بلکه او نیز به سوی ما بازگشت خواهد کرد و با ما راه خواهد رفت.
Thoughts on Today's Verse...
In times of horror and disaster, people routinely ask, "Where is God in all of this?" In reality, we often leave God at the periphery of our lives and look for him only when we are desperate and have no other options. We make our life messes, rebelling and ignoring his truth, then want him to bail us out. At the same time, as God pours his blessings into our lives, we forget to give thanks for his grace. When things are going well, we seldom say, "Where is God in all of this?" He's right here blessing us! Let's praise him for his goodness! God pleads with us to turn to him and seek after him in good times and in bad. Not only will we find him, he will return to us and walk with us.
دعای من
ای خداوند، لطفاً ما را ببخش که بدنبال راه دل خودمان میرویم. ما اعتراف میکنیم که از طریق های تو منحرف شده ایم. حتی اگرچه کتاب مقدس به آسانی در اختیار همه ما است، ما اغلب فرصت شنیدن کلامت را تلف میکنیم. با وجودیکه فرصتهای بسیاری برای تمجید تو و دعا داریم، تو تنها زمانهایی از ما میشنوی که ما دچار گرفتاریهای بسیار عظیمی شده ایم. ای پدر، من اجازه داده ام که رابطه ام با تو کمرنگ و کمتر شده و حضورت را در زندگیم، بیشتر و بیشتر طالب نبوده ام. لطفاً با من و با کلیسای خودت باش تا تو را و حضورت را در زندگی روزمره خود بطلبیم! بنام مسیح دعا میکنم.آمین.
My Prayer...
O God, please forgive us for seeking our own way. We confess that we often wander from your ways. Even while the Bible is readily available to us, we often squander the opportunity to hear you speak from your Scriptures. Even as we have so many opportunities to praise and pray to you, you sometimes only hear from us when we have gotten ourselves into insurmountable problems. Father, I confess that I have let my relationship with you slip and have not pursued your presence in my life as much as I could. Please be with me and with us as we seek you and your presence daily! In Jesus' name, I pray. Amen.
