Ce thème souvent répété dans le Nouveau Testament provient des lèvres de Jésus et est enseigné à nouveau par l'apôtre Paul. Cela devrait nous rappeler que nous ne devons pas passer notre vie à travailler pour ce qui n'est que temporaire. Nous devons investir dans Jésus et son Royaume, car tous les autres royaumes, structures, nations et pouvoirs finiront par disparaître et être perdus à jamais. Seul ce que nous investissons dans Jésus et son Royaume durera !
Thoughts on Today's Verse...
This often repeated theme in the New Testament is from Jesus's lips and taught again by the apostle Paul. It should be a great reminder to us that we shouldn't spend our lives working for what is only temporary. We must invest in Jesus and his Kingdom, for all other kingdoms, structures, nations, and powers will ultimately pass away and be gone forever. Only what we invest in Jesus and his Kingdom will endure!
Ma Prière...
Seigneur Dieu Tout-Puissant, l'Alpha et l'Omega, l'Éternel Je Suis, nous te remercions d'être ce que tout le reste dans le monde ne peut pas être. S'il te plaît, éveille nos cœurs aux choses d'une importance éternelle et ouvre nos yeux pour voir au-delà des choses transitoires qui nous attirent si souvent. Au nom de Jésus, nous prions et demandons cette aide. Amen.
My Prayer...
Lord God Almighty, the Alpha and the Omega, the Eternal I Am, we thank you for being what everything else in the world cannot be. Please awaken our hearts to things of eternal significance and open our eyes to see through the transitory things that are so often alluring to us. In Jesus' name, we pray and ask for this help. Amen.
