Pensées sur le Verset du Jour...
Barnabas était un homme bon! Pourquoi? Pour de nombreuses raisons. Mais, la raison principale était qu'il était plein de foi et du Saint-Esprit. Cela ne devrait pas nous surprendre. Lorsque le Saint-Esprit vit en nous, il est à l'œuvre en produisant le fruit de l'Esprit (Galates 5: 22-23) et en nous conformant au caractère du Christ (2 Corinthiens 3:18). Pas étonnant que l'influence de Barnabas ait été si grande sur la vie de ceux qui vivaient à Antioche; sa vie était sous l'influence de l'Esprit de Dieu!
Thoughts on Today's Verse...
Barnabas was a good man! Why? For many reasons. But, the key reason was that he was full of faith and the Holy Spirit. This shouldn't surprise us. When the Holy Spirit lives in us, he is at work producing the fruit of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22-23) and conforming us to the character of Christ (2 Corinthians 3:18). No wonder Barnabas' influence was so great on the lives of those who lived in Antioch; his life was under the influence of God's Spirit!
Ma Prière...
Cher Père céleste, je veux que ma vie soit influente pour le bien de l'Évangile et la croissance de ton Royaume. Je m'offre à toi en sacrifice vivant, en te demandant de me conformer à la nature de ton Fils Jésus et de faire naître en moi le fruit de ton Esprit. Au nom de Jésus, je prie. Amen

Dear Heavenly Father, I want my life to be influential for the good of the Gospel and the growth of your Kingdom. I offer myself to you as a living sacrifice, asking that you conform me to the nature of your Son Jesus and bring forth in me the fruit of your Spirit. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen.
