오늘의 묵상
한결같으면서도 무궁무진한 것을 소유하신 분 계신가요? 하나님의 한결같으신 사랑 외에는 그런 것이 단연코 없습니다. 우리가 하나님을 실망시키고, 상처주고, 불쾌하게 하고, 반역할 때마저도 하나님께서는 우리를 사랑하십니다. 우리가 아직 죄인이었을 때에 그분께서는 예수를 보내셔서 우리를 죄와 사망으로부터 구해 내셨습니다. 우리의 미래를 위해 다른 어떤 것이나 사람을 신뢰할 이유가 있을까요? 하나님의 한결같은 사랑을 의지합시다!
Thoughts on Today's Verse...
As followers of Jesus, the Jewish Messiah, we are part of Israel (Galatians 3:7-14, 26-29, 4:1-7, 6:16 — see article; ). That means God's calls for his people's commitment, obedience, holiness, and faithful dependence upon him as the Lord (YHWH — the covenant name God gave Israel to identify him) are also for us! So, let's get real about where we put our hope! What do we have here that is unfailing and inexhaustible? Nothing except God's unfailing love. He still loves us even when we disappoint, hurt, offend, or rebel against him. While we were sinners, he sent Jesus to redeem us from sin and death (Romans 5:6-8; 2 Corinthians 5:21). Why trust anything or anyone else with our future? Let's lean on God's unfailing love! Dear brothers and sisters, let's put our "hope in the Lord, for with the Lord is unfailing love and with him is full redemption."

아빠(Abba) 아버지, 사랑하는 하나님, 제가 가진 소망, 꿈, 미래를 모두 아버지의 손 안에 올려놓습니다. 제가 영원히 좋은 것을 누리도록, 제 안에서 일하고 계심을 신뢰합니다. 저를 노예로 만드는 모든 것으로부터 자유롭게 해주시는 분은 오직 아버지이심을 믿습니다. 제 죄들을 용서해주셨으며, 아버지와 영원히 생명을 누릴 것이라는 약속을 주셔서 감사드립니다. 하지만 사랑하는 아버지, 무엇보다도 한결같으신 사랑을 감사드립니다. 예수님의 이름으로 기도드립니다. 아멘.
My Prayer...
Abba Father, loving God, we place our hopes, dreams, and futures in your hands. We trust that you are at work for each of us and what is for our eternal good. We believe that you alone offer freedom from all that can enslave us. Thank you for forgiving our sins and blessing us with your promise of life with you forever. But most of all, dear Father, we thank you for your "unfailing love and full redemption." In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
