오늘의 묵상
주님(LORD)은 하나님이십니다. 그분의 거룩하심과 권능을 대수롭지 않게 여겨서는 안될 것입니다. 믿을 수 없을 만큼 놀라운 하나님의 은혜는 이렇습니다: 시내산의 천둥소리를 울리셨던 분이시며 가공할 만한 크기의 온 우주를 말씀 몇 마디로 창조하신 엄청난 분께서, 우리를 사랑하셔서 우리가 가까이 거하기를 원하시며 그분의 품을 피난처로 삼기 원하신다는 것입니다. 우리는 경외감 속에서 기뻐할 수 있습니다. 거룩한 두려움을 갖고 찬양드릴 수 있습니다. 우리가 신뢰하는 것은 인간이 아니며 잠깐 있다 없어지는 것이 아니며, 쉽사리 부서지는 것도 아니기에 우리 마음이 안전히 쉴 수 있습니다. 주님은 우리 하나님이십니다!
Thoughts on Today's Verse...
The Lord is God. We must not take for granted his holiness and might. But the incredible reality of God's grace is this: God, who thundered at Mount Sinai and spoke into existence the universe with all of its marvelous expanse and intricate detail, also loves us and longs for us to draw near and find refuge in him. We can rejoice in reverent awe. We can praise with holy reverence. We can rest secure because our trust is not in what is human, temporary, and corruptible. We can rejoice because the Lord is our God!
내 기도
아버지, 적절하지 못한 발언들과 무책임한 행동들로 아버지의 은혜를 값싸게 여겼던 저를 용서해 주시옵소서. 주님은 오직 한 분 하나님이십니다. 주님만이 찬양 받기에 합당하십니다. 거룩하시고 권능있으실 뿐 아니라, 여기 가까이 거하시고 제게 피난처를 제공하시며 보호하시니 감사드립니다. 사랑하는 아버지, 하나님이심에 감사를 드립니다. 예수님의 이름으로. 아멘.
My Prayer...
Forgive us, Father, for the times that we have cheapened your grace with inappropriate speech, irreverent thoughts, and irresponsible behaviors. You alone are God. You alone are worthy of our highest adoration and praise. Thank you for being holy and mighty, near and inviting. Thank you for providing us a place of refuge and security. Thank you, dear Father, for being God! In Jesus' name. Amen.
