오늘의 묵상
닳아버리지도 않고, 깨지지도 않으며, 죽지도 않고, 유행을 타지도 않으면서 수리조차 필요없는 무언가를 갖고 계신가요? 우리가 기뻐하고 감사드릴 수 있는 것은, 우리의 생명과 미래가 영존하시는 아버지이시며 하늘들의 창조자이시며 이 세상을 지으신 분께 연결되어 있기 때문입니다. 하나님께서는 본래 선하신 것뿐만이 아니라, 우리에게도 선하게 대해 주십니다. 하지만 선하신 것보다 더 위대한 것은 우리를 사랑하신다는 것인데, 그 사랑의 의지는 닳거나, 늙거나, 사라지지도 않으며 고칠 필요도 없습니다.
Thoughts on Today's Verse...
What do we have that won't wear out, break, die, go out of style, or ever need repair? We can rejoice and give thanks because our life and future are tied to the Eternal Father, the creator of the heavens and maker of our world. Not only is God good, but he is also good to us. But more than just being good, he is loving, and his love will not wear out, grow old, fade away, or need repair.

엘 샤다이, 위대하시고 전능하신 하나님, 제게 주님의 은혜를 주셨고 주님의 축복을 퍼부으셨으며, 제게 향하신 주님의 사랑이 이 땅에서 잠깐일 뿐인 제 삶의 기간을 넘어설 것이라고 약속하셨으니 감사드립니다. 영원함으로 감사드립니다. 나의 주 예수님의 이름으로 기도드립니다. 아멘. (참고: 엘 샤다이는 "전능하신 하나님" 혹은 "산들의 하나님"을 뜻함)

Thank you, El Shaddai,[1] the great Almighty. You have given me your grace, showered me with your blessings, and promised that your love for me will live beyond the shadows of my few days on earth. Thank you forever. In the name of Jesus my Lord. Amen.
