오늘의 묵상
우리들은 죽었습니다만, 이전의 어떤 때보다도 더욱 생동감있게 살아있습니다. 우리는 십자가에 못박혔고 수치를 당했지만 이전의 어떤 때보다도 더욱 영광을 받았습니다. 당신도 아시듯, 우리 안에 그리스도가 살아계십니다. 다른 이들을 축복하시기 위해 우리 안에서 일하십니다. 그러므로 우리가 지금 유한한 육체 속에 사는 것은 유한하지 않습니다 — 그리스도의 공로입니다. 우리가 지금 사는 삶은 유일하신 구세주를 믿는 믿음으로 사는 것이며, 그분은 우리를 구원하시기 위해 자기 자신을 주셔서 사랑을 보여주셨습니다.
Thoughts on Today's Verse...
When we shared with Jesus in his death, burial, and resurrection (Romans 6:3-7; Colossians 2:12-15, 3:1-4), we died, but we are more alive than ever before. We were crucified with Christ, and now we are glorified with Christ in us. He works through us to bless others. This new life we now live in our bodies is no longer limited to our personal power. We are alive, and our new life is the work of Christ through us. This is the life empowered by faith in the one and only Savior, who has shown his love to us by giving himself to redeem us.

전능하시고 거룩하신 하나님, 당신의 생명과 권능을 저에게, 그리고 저를 통해 나누어 주시니 감사합니다. 그리스도께 제 삶이 연합됨을 감사드립니다. 또한 제 삶에 참여하시는 그리스도께 감사드립니다! 그분의 사랑, 은혜, 권능이 제 행동과 성품에서 보여지게 되기를. 예수님의 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.
My Prayer...
Almighty and Holy God, thank you for sharing your life and power with me. Thank you for joining my life to Christ and having him come alive in me. May his love, grace, and power be seen in my actions and character. I want my new life to reflect Jesus and his presence in me so I can bring his grace to others and bring them to him. In Jesus' name, I pray. Amen.
