오늘의 묵상
외로움과 의심의 시간은 거의 모든 제자들의 삶 속에 찾아옵니다. 우리의 기도가 천정에 닿고는 도로 떨어져 발 앞에 부서져 버리는 것같이 느껴지기도 합니다. 하나님이 멀게만 느껴지고, 숨어계시는 것 같고, 주무시는가 싶고, 자비와 도움을 요청하는 우리들의 울부짖음에 동감하시지 않는 것 같습니다. 하지만 감사하게도 하나님께서는 시편을 선물해 주셨습니다. 시편에서는 삶의 거의 모든 기복을 찾아볼 수 있습니다. 우리가 낙담해 있을 때, 예전에 살던 누군가도 나와 비슷한 상황속에서 믿음과 활력을 회복했다는 것은 좋은 소식입니다. 반면에, 하나님의 사랑과 인도를 상기해야 할 때도 있습니다. 이 시편은 바로 그런 때를 위해 쓰여졌습니다. 당신에게 이 시편이 적당하지 않은 것 같다면, 다른 이를 위해 이 기도를 해주십시오. 반대로, 다른 이가 이 시편을 당신에게 말해준다면, 그 기도를 자신을 위해 하십시오!
Thoughts on Today's Verse...
In nearly every disciple's life, there comes a time of loneliness and doubt. It seems as if our prayer requests bounce off the ceiling and fall into broken pieces at our feet. God seems distant, hiding, asleep, or unsympathetic to our cries for mercy and help. Thankfully God gives us the Psalms. In the Psalms, we can find words for almost all of life's ups and downs. It is nice when we are down to know that others have been there before us and have recovered their faith and vitality. But, there are just some moments in life when we need to have God's reminders of his love and guidance. This psalm and these words are made for such a time. If the request is not relevant to your need, please pray these words for someone else. If, on the other hand, they speak to you, then please, pray them for yourself!

사랑하는 아버지, 당신의 임재가 제 삶속에 부인할 수 없게 또렷해지도록, 또한 제가 당신의 임재와 자비를 명확히 볼 수 있도록 도와주시옵소서. 사랑하는 하나님, 당신께 존귀함을 올려드리기 원하며, 당신의 인도하심이 분명하여 제가 당신의 뜻 안에서 용감하고 신실하게 따를 수 있도록 해 주시옵소서. 예수님 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.
My Prayer...
Dear Father, please make your presence undeniably known in my life and help me see your presence and mercy clearly. I want to honor you, dear God, but please make your guidance clear so that I can follow you boldly and faithfully in your will. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen.
