오늘의 묵상
이 말씀을 읽으면 하나님께 외치고 싶어집니다: "우리를 회복시켜 주십시오 하나님! 주님의 백성인 우리들이 주님의 경이로우심을 깨닫는 감각을 상실했으니 회복시켜 주시옵소서! 낡고 시들어버린 우리의 마음을 다시 순전하게 만드시옵소서. 우리의 삶이 더럽혀지지 않은 온전함과 의지를 갖도록 회복시키시옵소서. 오 전능하신 하나님, 주님처럼 온전히 우리를 회복시켜 주시옵소서!" 사실 모든 그리스도인들이 경이감을 잃어버리거나 낡고 닳은 마음을 가진 것은 아니지만, 우리들은 하나님의 임재가 비춰져서 새롭게 됨이 필요한 존재들입니다!
Thoughts on Today's Verse...
This passage makes me want to cry out to God: "Please restore us, God! Restore us, your people, O God, for we have lost their sense of wonder! Restore our old withered hearts to their innocence. Restore our lives to their unsoiled perfection and intention. Restore us to yourself, O God Almighty!" While not every Christian has lost his or her sense of wonder and while not every one of us has an old withered heart, we all need God's presence to shine upon us, renew us, and save us!
내 기도
오 하나님, 새로운 것을 창조하시는 분이시여, 때때로 저는 너무 늙었고 닳아버렸음을 느끼곤 합니다; 제 영혼이 싸움에 지쳐 피곤합니다. 제가 회복되기 위해서는 주님의 임재와 힘이 필요합니다. 저를 회복시키셔서 다시 주님 곁으로 데려가시고, 주님의 은혜가 제 속에서 다시 살아나도록 하여 주소서. 주님의 사랑으로 저를 회복시키셔서 저를 통해 타인들에게 그 사랑을 나눌 수 있게 하시옵소서. 주님의 의로우심으로 저를 회복시키셔서 다른 이들이 주님의 성품을 제 안에서 발견할 수 있기를 원합니다. 저를 회복시키실 때에 저만 회복시키지는 마시고 주님의 권능의 이름을 부르는 모든 이들을 회복시키셔서, 세상이 우리 안에서 주님을 볼 수 있게 되고 주님의 구원하시는 은혜를 알게 되기를 원합니다. 예수님의 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.
My Prayer...
O God, the maker of new things, sometimes I feel so old and worn; my soul is weary from the fight. I need your presence and strength to restore me. Please restore me to your side and make your grace alive in me. Please restore me to your love and share it with others through me. Please restore me to your righteousness so others can see your character in me. Please restore me, and not just me; please restore all those who call on your mighty name. We want the world to see you in us and come to know your saving grace. In Jesus' name, I pray. Amen.
