오늘의 묵상
예수님께서는 살아계신 지도자이시며 그의 교회의 머리이십니다. 이런 권한을 가진 다른 사람은 존재하지 않습니다. 오직 예수님만이 이 지위를 얻으셨습니다. 예수님이 으뜸이십니다. 그분이 으뜸이 되시는 것은 그분의 신성 덕분이기도 하지만, 우리를 위해 행하신 일로 인해 그런 으뜸 되는 자리를 받으셨습니다. 만물의 시작이 있기 이전부터 그 자리에 계셨으며, 존재하는 모든 것들의 창조주셨으며, 우리를 위해 죽음을 승리하며 통과하신 오직 한분이십니다.
Thoughts on Today's Verse...
Jesus is the living leader and head of his church. No person can rightfully fill this role. No one but Jesus has earned this position. Jesus is supreme. Even though supremacy is rightfully his because of his divinity, he has earned this supremacy through what he accomplished for us on the cross, in his burial, and through his resurrection. He was alive before there was a beginning. He was the Creator of all that is. He was the one who passed through death victoriously for us. He is the beginning so that he might have supremacy in everything!
내 기도
주 예수님, 주님의 몸된 교회를 다스리시기를 요청드립니다. 우리 안에서 영광을 받으시고 우리 지도자들의 마음이 주님의 뜻으로 푹 젖게 하시옵소서. 우리들의 연합과 주님을 향한 헌신으로 인해 세상이 주님의 으뜸 되심을 보게 되기를 원합니다. 거룩하신 하나님, 예수 안에서 교회를 통하여 영광 받으시옵소서. 주 하나님께와 주님의 독생자이시며 우리의 구원자이신 예수님께 모든 존귀와 영광과 찬양이 지금부터 영원무궁토록 있기를. 아멘.
My Prayer...
Lord Jesus, I ask you to take control of your Church, your Body. Please glorify yourself in us and permeate our leaders' hearts with your will. We want the world to see your supremacy because of our unity and devotion to you. And Holy God, please glorify yourself in Jesus through the Church. To you, Lord God, and to your Son and our Savior Jesus, be all honor, glory, and praise, now and forevermore. Amen.
