오늘의 묵상
"그 모임에 뭘 입고 가야할지 모르겠어요?" 오늘 말씀에서 사도 바울은 <항상 스타일이 좋은 옷>이 있다는 것을 알려줍니다. 우리가 특별하기 때문에 이 옷을 입는 것입니다. 성품이라는 이 옷은, 최고 절정의 디자이너이신 주님께서 디자인하신 컬렉션이며, 다른 사람들과 함께 있을 때에 가장 잘 어울리는 옷입니다. 이런 성품들을 쉽게 입을 수는 없지만, 그 옷으로 치장했을 때에 우리를 만나는 사람들을 축복하게 됩니다.
Thoughts on Today's Verse...
"Wonder what I'll need to wear to that meeting?" Paul reminds us that there is a set of clothing that is always in style. We wear this clothing because we are special. This clothing is from the Ultimate Designer's collection called character and is best worn when with other people. These qualities are hard to wear, but always a blessing to those who meet us when we're decked out in this wardrobe.

아빠 Abba 아버지, 저를 아버지의 가족으로 들어오게 하셨으니 감사드립니다. 제가 다른 이들을 대할 때에 아버지를 절대로 실망시키지 않도록 해 주십시오. 그들이 제 안에서 아버지를 보게 하시고, 제 삶 속에 아버지의 임재로만 나타날 수 있는 성품들도 보게 하시옵소서. 아버지께 영광과 존귀가 영원히 있기를, 예수님의 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.
My Prayer...
Abba Father, thank you for bringing me into your family. May I never disappoint you in the way I treat others. May they see in me, the qualities of character that can only be attributed to your presence in my life. To you be the glory and the honor, forever and ever, in the name of Jesus my Lord. Amen.
