오늘의 묵상
어떤 날은 정말로 힘듭니다! 우리가 관심갖는 이들이 상처받고, 우리의 계획들이 무너지고, 우리의 기도는 천장에 부딪혀서 바닥에 떨어져버린 것처럼 느껴집니다. 우리는 하나님께 부르짖습니다 — 어떨 때에는 화난 상태이기도 하고, 어떨 때는 절망 속에서 부르짖지만, 자비를 구하며 부르짖을 때가 많습니다. 우리는 안도감을 갖고 싶습니다! 우리에겐 소망이 필요합니다! 우리에게 아버지의 응답이 필요합니다.
Thoughts on Today's Verse...
Some days are just very tough! Those we care about are hurting. Our plans are falling apart. Our prayers fell like BBs shot into a metal-walled room. They ricochet off the walls and ceiling only to fall at our feet and trip us up when we try to move out of our box full of worthless-feeling prayers. We cry out to God — sometimes in anger, sometimes in desperation, but especially begging for mercy. We need relief! We need hope! We need the Father to respond. So we join the psalmist in crying out to God:
O Lord, hear my prayer, listen to my cry for mercy; in your faithfulness and righteousness come to my relief.
And on our best days, we hang onto hope waiting for the Lord to answer!

신실하시고 의로우신 하나님, 사랑하시는 아버지, 죄와 질병과 낙담과 진실하지 못한 친구들과, 제가 창피를 당하고 파멸당하는 것을 위해 노력하는 대적들과의 싸움 속에서 제 옆에 오셔서 저를 안심시켜 주시옵소서. 저는 아버지의 도움이 필요합니다. 저는 아버지의 자비가 필요합니다. 오, 사랑하는 아버지, 저는 아버지의 임재와 능력을 제 삶 속에서 필요로 합니다. 예수님의 사랑스러우신 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.
My Prayer...
Faithful and righteous God, loving Father, please come to my aid and bring me relief from my struggles with sin, disease, discouragement, unfaithful friends, and enemies who work for my humiliation and destruction. I desperately need your help, O Lord. I need your mercy, dear Father. I need to know your presence and power in my life today, Lord God Almighty. In Jesus' sweet name, I pray. Amen.
