오늘의 묵상
하나님께서는 솔로몬에게 이르시기를, 백성들은 성전에 올 수 있으며, 정직하고 겸손하게 하나님을 찾으면 그들의 기도를 확실히 들으실 것이라고 하셨습니다. 이 약속이 바로 오늘까지도 여전히 진리인 이유는, 비록 하나님의 성전 건축물은 현재 없지만 영적 성전은 그 백성들이 모인 가운데 있기 때문입니다. (고전 3:16, 마 18:20) 우리에게 주신 위대한 축복과 강력한 선물이 바로 이것입니다! 믿는 이들과 함께 모여서 하나님 앞에서 스스로 겸손하게 하고 하나님의 임재를 구할 때에 하나님께서 우리 기도를 들으실 것이라는 것을 압니다. 거창하고 전세계적인 사역이 이루어지기 기다리는 것보다는, 기도에 힘쓰는 정기적인 모임을 다른 이들과 함께 가지는 것이 좋지 않겠습니까?
Thoughts on Today's Verse...
God told Solomon that the Temple would be a place where his people could come and be assured that their prayers would be heard if they honestly and humbly sought God, turned from their wicked ways, and returned to His way of grace, mercy, protection, and love; then He would hear them. This promise remains true to this very day, for while God's physical Temple isn't standing, His spiritual one is found in the gathering of His people (1 Corinthians 3:16; Matthew 18:20) and in each of their bodies (1 Corinthians 6:19-20). What a great blessing and what a powerful gift for us today! The Father will hear us when we gather with believers and humble ourselves before him, turning from our selfish ways and seeking his presence. Rather than waiting for a grandiose, worldwide effort to begin humbling ourselves and turning toward God, why not gather regularly with others who will join us in this prayer effort? Let's initiate a global revival, renewal, and transformation by starting with prayer and turning to God within us!

사랑하는 아버지, 이제 진지하게 아버지의 임재하심을 구합니다. 제 죄를 용서해 주시옵소서. 제가 살아가는 이 시간 속에서 좋은 영향을 끼치는 사람 되도록 사용해 주시옵소서. 아버지, 무엇보다도 이 시대와, 우리나라 사람들과, 이 땅에 부흥이 오도록, 치유가 있도록 일하시옵소서. 우리나라의 정부기관과 우리 나라 사람들 안에 아버지의 인도, 축복, 성품이 너무나 필요합니다. 예수님 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.
My Prayer...
Loving Father, we earnestly seek your presence. Please forgive us for our sins as we renounce all powers and influences that hold our hearts captive and distract us from you and your will. Please use us, Jesus' disciples, to influence this turn toward you in our day. O, dear Father, please bring revival and healing to our time, among your people, and to this world. We desperately need your guidance, blessing, grace, and character in our governments and among all peoples. We pray this, together, agreeing in Jesus' name with a commitment to live for you. Amen.
