오늘의 묵상
골고다의 십자가와 우리 죄를 위한 예수님의 희생은 "나중에 생각해서 꾸며낸 것"이거나 "실수" 혹은 "교정본"같은 것이 아닙니다. 예수님은 하나님의 기름부으신 구별된 메시아로서, 그 백성들의 죄를 위해 죽고, 그들에게 죽음 없는 불멸의 삶을 제공해 주려고 오셨습니다. 한편 자신들의 지위와 자리를 지키기 위해 예수를 죽이려는 음모를 꾸몄던 사악한 자들은 "하나님께서 그럴 줄 미리 아셨던" 일을 행하는 꼴이 되었던 것입니다. 하나님께서는 적은 수의 악한 자들이 의도했던 것으로, 모든 사람의 구원을 이루셨습니다.
Thoughts on Today's Verse...
The cross of Golgotha and the sacrifice of Jesus for our sins were no afterthought or mistake. Jesus came as God's anointed, his holy Messiah, the Christ, the Suffering Servant, to die for the sins of the people and bring life and immortality to us. Those who were evil and conspired to kill Jesus as they sought to preserve their power and position as religious leaders were doing what God knew they would do. God used their evil actions to bring his grace and his goodness to us. He ransomed what was intended for evil by a few and made it the source of salvation for all, and he planned this ages before it happened. That is truly God's loving grace planned long ago for us!

전능하신 하나님, 사랑하는 아버지, 당신의 엄청난 희생으로 정의의 요구를 만족시키시고 당신의 넘치는 자비와 은혜를 허락하신 것에 감사를 드립니다. 예수님을 주셔서 그 이름으로 기도하며, 당신의 사랑의 헌신과 거룩한 삶의 모범을 보여주신것, 또한 저를 위해 돌아오신다는 약속에 감사를 드립니다. 아멘.
My Prayer...
Almighty God and loving Father, thank you for your gracious sacrifice that fulfilled your demand for justice and brought us your rich mercy and grace in Jesus. Thank you, Lord Jesus, for your loving sacrifice, holy example, and promise to return for me, to take me home with you in glory. I pray this in your name. Amen.
