오늘의 묵상
우리가 전도를 하지 못하는 핑계를 너무 자주 만들곤 합니다. 사도바울의 일생을 보면, 우리들의 그런 핑계는 설득력을 잃습니다! 그는 가택 구금 상태이며 자신의 생계를 스스로 책임져야 하지만, 잃어버린 자들에게 복음을 어떻게든 전파했던 것입니다!
Thoughts on Today's Verse...
So often, we give excuses why we can't do evangelism. Throughout his life, Paul showed us how lame our excuses are! He was passionately determined to fulfill God's mission for him and wouldn't let anything deter him (Acts 20:24). Luke closes the book of Acts with Paul under house arrest, needing to support himself and depend upon friends. Despite these difficulties, Paul still managed to get the Gospel proclaimed to the lost, mentor others who would follow in his steps, and live passionately for Jesus!

사랑하시며 전능하신 하나님, 제가 핑계를 대고 두려움을 가졌던 것 용서해 주시옵소서. 복음에 쓰여진 하나님의 구원하시는 진리를 나누기 위하여 담대하게 만드시옵소서. 제가 아는 모든 사람들이 저를 통해 예수님을 알게 되기를 원합니다! 그의 귀하신 이름으로 기도드립니다. 아멘.

Loving and Almighty God, forgive my excuses and my fear. Please make me bold to share your saving truth in the Gospel. May all who know me also learn more about Jesus through me! In his precious name, I pray. Amen.
