오늘의 묵상
말라기 4:6 절에서는 아버지들과 자녀들의 마음이 연합될 것이라고 약속하셨습니다. 우리 가정에서 자녀들을 양육하고 교정하여 그 약속을 실현합시다. 이 과정에서 양육과 교정의 균형이 맞아야 합니다. 자녀에게 대해 수없이 많은 규칙, 법칙들을 요구하여 그들이 부모가 매우 기뻐하고 사랑하는 자녀들이라는 표현을 못 듣는 일은 없도록 합시다. 반면에 너무 많은 자유를 허락하여, 아이들이 버림 받은 느낌이나 불확실함을 느끼지 않도록 합시다. 우리의 마음을 자녀들에게 돌이키고, 하나님께 그들의 마음도 당신의 가정으로 향하고 당신의 마음도 그들의 가정으로 향하여, 서로 서로가 연합되도록 기도드립시다.
Thoughts on Today's Verse...
In Malachi 4:6, God promised that fathers and children in God's coming Kingdom would be reunited in heart. Let's make that real in our homes today by nurturing and correcting our children, using a balance of nurture and correction. Let's not make our faith so full of rules and restrictions that it becomes impossible for our children to obey or hear that they are our beloved children, with whom we are well pleased! Let's not grant so much freedom, however, that our children feel neglected and uncertain about how to live in today's morally chaotic world. Let's turn our hearts toward them and pray for God to turn children's hearts toward their homes with us and our Father in heaven!

오 전능하신 주 하나님, 아빠(Abba) 아버지, 너무도 많은 아버지들이 그들의 자녀를 영적으로, 육적으로 저버려서 이 땅이 저주 가운데 있습니다. 부모들을 일으키소서, 특히 아버지들을 일으키셔서 사랑, 양육, 교정 사이의 균형을 잘 맞추는, 어렵고 도전적인 임무를 맡겨 주시고, 우리 땅이 치유되고 아이들이 당신의 사랑과 은혜를 알게 되기를 원합니다. 예수님 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.
My Prayer...
O Lord God Almighty, Abba Father, our land lies under a curse because many Fathers have spiritually and physically abandoned their children. Please raise up parents, especially fathers, daddies, who will balance the challenging tasks of love, nurture, and correction and heal our families so our children may know your love and grace. In Jesus' name, we beg you to help our fathers. Amen.
