오늘의 묵상
"주님의 이름을 부르는 것"이 구원에 있어서 필수적이기에, 예수님을 모르는 이들에게 예수님에 대해 우리가 말하지 않는다면 무슨 일이 생길까요? 귀담아 들을 모든 이들에게 예수님을 전해야만 합니다. 그들에게 "선포하는 사람"은 우리여야만 합니다!
Thoughts on Today's Verse...
Since "calling on the name of the Lord" is essential for salvation (Acts 22:16; Romans 10:9-13), then what is going to happen if we don't speak about Jesus with those who do not know him? We must share Jesus with everyone who will listen. That "someone preaching to them" must be us — you and me! Plus, we do not want to miss out on the promise the Lord made to us:
"So everyone who acknowledges me before men, I also will acknowledge before my Father who is in heaven..." (Matthew 10:32 ESV).
내 기도
저희를 걱정하시고 사랑해주시는 아버지 하나님, 제 주변 사람들이 제 삶에 있는 것은 아버지께서 하신 것임을 압니다. 예수님과 그의 희생에 대하여 더 담대히 증언할 수 있도록 저를 빚으시옵소서. 복음에 대해 언제 그들에게 말해야 할지 알 수 있는 지혜를 주시옵소서. 예수님의 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.
My Prayer...
Concerned and loving Father, I know the people in my life were put there by you. Please make me bolder and more respectful in my witness to others about Jesus and his sacrifice. Please give me the wisdom to know when to speak to them about the Gospel. In Jesus' name, I pray. Amen.
