와! 어떤 도시, 권역, 나라에서 새로운 지도자를 뽑을 때나 혹은 교회에서 장로나 목회자를 뽑을 때, 이보다 더 좋은 기도문이 있을까요?
Thoughts on Today's Verse...
Wow! For any city, county, or country electing new leadership or for a church selecting elders, pastors, or ministers, what greater prayer could there be than to ask: Lord of all humanity, please appoint leaders who will go before us, care for us, and lead us with integrity modeling your ways of peace and virtue so that we will not be like sheep without a shepherd. O, God, please give us such leaders. Amen!
내 기도
오 아버지, 옳지못한 이유로 리더를 선출하고 잘못된 성품을 가진 지도자를 골랐던 우리를 용서하여 주시옵소서. 회중 안에 필요한 모든 지위들에, 성품이 갖춰지고 백성에 대한 깊은 관심을 가진 지도자들을 일으켜 세워 주시옵소서. 구원자 예수님의 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.
My Prayer...
O Father, please forgive us for choosing leaders for the wrong reasons and for selecting those to lead us who have bad character but are successful in other places. Please raise up leaders at every level of our Christian communities and churches with integrity of character and a deep concern for people. We pray this together, in the name of the Savior, Jesus. Amen.
