오늘의 묵상
네, 우리는 모두 깨지고, 결함투성이에, 얼룩졌습니다. 아니라구요? 그렇다면 최소한 "예전에" 우리들이 그랬었지요. (고전 6:9-11) 하나님의 은혜와 예수님께서 일하신 것을 인하여 하나님을 찬양합시다. 그로 인해 우리는 하나님 앞에 거룩하고, 흠없고, 책망할 것이 없이 설 수 있습니다.
Thoughts on Today's Verse...
Yep, we're all broken, flawed, and tainted (Romans 3:9-11, 23-24). Or, at least, that is what we were before God saved us, the Spirit sanctified us, and Jesus brought us into his family (1 Corinthians 6:9-11). Praise God! Praise God because of his grace. Praise God for the work of Jesus. Praise God for the presence of the Holy Spirit. Because of these, we can stand before God holy, without blemish, and free from accusation (Colossians 1:22).

용서하시는 아버지, 성령님, 저를 사망과 죄악의 길에서 예수님의 희생을 통해 구해내심에 감사를 드립니다. 당신의 성령의 힘으로 예수님과 더욱 닮을 수 있도록 힘주시니 감사합니다. 제 자신의 노력으로는 절대 이룰 수 없었을텐데... 당신의 은혜로 새로운 나를 만들어 가시니 감사합니다. 사랑하는 하나님, 제 죄에서 구해주시고 유죄판결으로부터 속죄시키시고 당신의 영광에 참여할 수 있도록 건져내어 주시니 감사합니다. 예수님 이름으로 당신을 찬양합니다. 아멘.
My Prayer...
Forgiving Father and Holy God, thank you for redeeming me from my sinful ways through the loving self-sacrifice of Jesus. Thank you for empowering me to become more like him by the transforming power of your Holy Spirit. Thank you for helping me become more than I could ever be through your grace than I could ever be through my own efforts. Thank you, dear God, for saving me from sin, ransoming me from guilt, and redeeming me to share in your glory. In Jesus' name, I praise you. Amen.
