오늘의 묵상
여러분의 교회나 성경 공부 모임에 방문자가 있을 때 따뜻하게 환영하십니까? 교우들의 저녁식사나 교회 친구들과의 모임에 누군가를 초대했던 것이 마지막으로 언제인가요? 어떤 이들은 타고난 사교성을 갖고 있지만, 대부분 우리들은 그리스도인의 예배와 교제에 참여한 처음 보는 사람들에게 마음을 열고 따뜻하게 대할 필요가 있습니다. 매 주일마다 교회에서 새로운 사람을 만나서 환영하겠다는 결심을 가져보시는 것은 어떨까요? 우리들은 차갑고 인정없는 이 세상을 피하여 예수님과 그 백성들의 은혜를 구하며 피난처를 찾아온 사람들의 삶에 거대한 변화를 가져 올 수 있습니다.
Thoughts on Today's Verse...
What do you you do to welcome new neighbors into your neighborhood or apartment complex? How warmly do you personally welcome visitors at your church or in your Bible study group? When was the last time you invited someone new in your congregation over for dinner or included them in a gathering of your Christian friends? While some have the gift of hospitality, all of us need to be warm and open to folks we don't know that join us for Christian worship and fellowship. Why not make a commitment to meet and welcome one new person at church each week. In a cold impersonal world, we can make a huge difference in the lives of those seeking the shelter and grace of Jesus and his people.

아버지, 저와 우리 교인들을 도와주셔서 새신자에게 더 마음을 열고 환영할 수 있도록 도우시옵소서. 아버지의 은혜를 나누고 그리스도인의 안식처를 제공할 수 있도록 저희를 사용해 주시옵소서. 예수님의 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.
My Prayer...
Father, please help me, and please help my congregation, be more open and welcoming to people who are new and who are visiting. Please use us to share your grace and provide them a Christian home. In Jesus' name. Amen.
