오늘의 묵상
하나님께서는 우리가 올려드리는 찬양과 경배의 노래 듣는 것을 사랑하십니다. 우리가 그분을 아빠(Abba) 아버지, 모든 세대의 왕으로 부르기를 원하십니다. 하지만 우리가 부를 수 있는 가장 멋진 찬양과 천사들의 높고도 높은 소리들보다도 더 높고 멋진 것은, 바로 하나님의 이름입니다. 영광스러우신 우리 하나님의 이름을 높이고 거룩하게 여기겠다고 다짐합시다!
Thoughts on Today's Verse...
God loves to hear our praises and songs of adoration. He longs to hear us call him Abba, Father and King of the Ages. But better than all the praise we can muster and higher than the highest sounds of angels is something higher still: the very name of God, YHWH, I AM, the Lord of heaven and earth, and God of the covenants (Exodus 3:13-15). Let's commit to revere and hold the name of our glorious God as holy (Exodus 20:7; Leviticus 19:12), never using the Lord's name flippantly and without reverent respect!
내 기도
전능하신 하나님, 자비의 아버지시며 온 우주의 창조자시여, 아버지의 뜻을 이 세상에 펼치셨으니 찬양드립니다. 사랑하는 아버지, 아버지의 이름이 높여지도록 살고자 추구하오니, 아버지의 뜻이 제 삶 속에서 더욱 분명히 증명될 수 있기를 원합니다. 예수님의 거룩하신 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.
My Prayer...
Almighty God, Father of compassion and Creator of the Universe, I praise you for exerting your will on our world. Now, dear Lord, please make your will clearly demonstrable in my life as I seek to live for you so that your name will be exalted. In the holy name of Jesus, I pray. Amen.
