오늘의 묵상
우리 안에 계시는 성령님께서는 장차 다가올 더 큰 영광의 보증이 되십니다(고후1:22;5:5 참고) 성령님께서는 우리에게 드러날 영광의 첫 열매가 되십니다(롬8:18 참고) 우리의 현재 상태는 우리의 앞에 놓인 날들을 미리 맛보는 것 뿐입니다. 우리는 하늘에 있는 우리의 집을 옷입고, 하나님과 함께 본향에 거하기를 애타게 바라고 있습니다. (고후 5:1-8)
Thoughts on Today's Verse...
The Holy Spirit, who lives in us, is our guarantee of a greater glory that is to come (cf. 2 Corinthians 1:22; 2 Corinthians 5:5). The Spirit is the firstfruits of that glory that is to be revealed in us (Romans 8:18). Our current state is only a foretaste of what lies ahead for us; we yearn to be clothed with our heavenly dwelling and to be at home with God (2 Corinthians 5:1-8).

사랑하는 아버지, 너무나 놀라운 축복으로 제게 축복해 주셨습니다. 그 축복들 각각에 대해 모두 감사드립니다. 또 사랑하는 아버지, 아버지의 자녀로서 영광속에 아버지의 임재 안으로 들어가기를 고대합니다. 이 세상의 고통과 마음 아픈 것들, 육체의 연약함과 제 자신이 죄에 대해 약해서 겪게 되는 좌절 때문에, 아버지의 독생자께서 영광속에 돌아오실 그 날을 기다리게 됩니다. 그날까지 아버지의 거룩한 자녀가 되려고 하오니 도와주십시오. 예수님 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.
My Prayer...
Dear Father, you have blessed me with so many wonderful blessings. I thank you for each and every one of them. At the same time, dear Father, I do long to be brought into your presence in glory as your child. The pain and heartache of the world, the fragility of my body, and my frustration with my own vulnerability to sin keeps me longing for the day that your Son returns in glory. Until that day, help me as I try to be your holy child. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen.
