오늘의 묵상
삶이란 많은 불확실성으로 가득 차 있습니다. 알지 못하는 어떤 일이 발생할지 여러분은 전혀 알지 못합니다. 언제 다른 재앙이 닥칠지 당신은 전혀 알 수 없습니다. 서로 미워하며 테러가 가득한 이 세상에서, 끔찍하고 극악무도한 사건이 또 언제 생길지 우리 중 아무도 단서를 갖고 있지 못합니다. 우리의 환경이 이렇게 불확실하다면 우리가 어떻게 대처할 수 있을까요? 모든 환경보다 높으신 하나님의 날개 아래를 우리의 피난처로 삼아야 할 것입니다! 우리 아버지 하나님께서 우리에게 약속하시기를, 오늘과 이 세상과 우리 몸에 무슨 일이 일어날지라도 결국 우리를 그분에게로 이끄시리라 하셨으니 우리가 그것을 확신합니다. 우리의 생명은 우리 아버지 하나님 안에 감추어져 있는데, 우리가 그리스도와 연합하였기 때문입니다. 그분이 우리 피난처이십니다! 그분의 날개가 우리의 피난처가 되십니다!
Thoughts on Today's Verse...
Life is filled with many uncertainties. You never know when something unexpected is going to happen. You have no idea when the next disaster will strike. In a world filled with hate and terrorism, none of us has a clue when the next horrible atrocity will occur. So what do we do when we can't be sure of our circumstances? We take shelter under the wing of the One who is above all circumstances! We take assurance in our Father who has promised to bring us to himself no matter what may happen today ... in our world ... and to our bodies. Our lives are hidden with our Father because we've been joined to Christ (Colossians 3:1-4). He is our Refuge! His wings are our shelter!
내 기도
아버지 하나님, 사망보다 위대한 구원을 주신 당신께 어떤 말로 해야 충분히 감사드리고 찬양드릴 수 있을까요? 주님께서는 알파와 오메가이십니다. 주님께서 이전에 계셨고 지금 계시고 앞으로 오실 분이십니다. 주님은 나의 아빠(Abba) 아버지이시며, 저를 입양하셔서 자신의 것으로 만드셨습니다. 제 신뢰와 소망과 미래를 주님 안에 맡기며 두려워하지 않겠습니다. 주님의 날개 아래에 제 피난처가 있습니다! 모든 찬양을 예수님의 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.
My Prayer...
Father, what words can I offer that are sufficient to thank and praise you for your deliverance that is greater than death? You are the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end; You are the God who was and is and is to come (Revelation 1:8, 21:6, 22:13). You are my Abba Father, who has adopted me and made me your own. I place my trust, my hope, and my future into your loving care, and I will not be afraid. I find my refuge under your wings! All praise to you in the name of Jesus. Amen.
