오늘의 묵상
강하고, 악의적이고, 사악한 세력들과 우리들이 영적인 전투중이라는 것을 성경에서는 반복적으로 알려주고 있습니다. (에베소서 6:10-12) 우리들은 어떤 악의 모양이라도 버리고 이 삶을 이끌어나가야 합니다. 사탄과 그의 작품에 관련된 그 어떤 것에도 우리 자신을 연루시켜서는 안됩니다. 하지만 우리 주님께서 사탄과 그의 악한 천사들보다 위대하심도 기억해야 합니다. 주님은 신실하십니다. 주님은 우리의 대적 앞에서 우리를 포기하지 않으실 것입니다. 주님께서는 우리가 요청한다면, 우리를 강하게 하시고 공격으로부터 우리를 지켜내실 것입니다!
Thoughts on Today's Verse...
The Bible repeatedly reminds us that we are in a spiritual war with strong and malicious forces that are spiritually and morally evil (Ephesians 6:10-12). We should steer clear of any appearance of evil. We shouldn't involve ourselves in anything related to Satan and his work. We also need to remember that our Lord is greater than Satan and all of his evil angels. He is faithful. He will not abandon us to our enemy. God will strengthen us and protect us from attack if we draw near to him and let him use his power for us (James 4:7-10). We must seize the promise John reminded believers in the first century:
You, dear children, are from God and have overcome them, because the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world (1 John 4:4).
내 기도
전능하신 하나님, 하나님의 독생자의 희생과 죽은 자 가운데서의 부활과 하늘 본향 집으로 저를 이끄시려고 다시 오신다는 약속을 통하여, 사탄을 이기는 승리를 제게 주셨으니 감사드립니다. 저를 강하게 하시고 힘 주셔서 악한 자의 온갖 유혹을 극복하고 그의 속이는 미끼를 저항할 수 있게 도우시옵소서. 오 주님, 제가 오직 경배하고 섬기고 순종하기 원하는 분은 오직 주님이십니다. 주님께 모든 영광이 영원 무궁토록 속해 있습니다. 예수님의 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.
My Prayer...
Almighty God, thank you for giving me victory over Satan through the sacrifice of your Son, his cross, and his resurrection from the dead. He promised to return and take me home to you. Please strengthen and empower me to overcome temptation and resist the deceptive enticements of the Evil One. O Lord, it is only you that I want to worship, serve, and obey. To you belongs all glory forever and ever, in the name of Jesus. Amen.
