오늘의 묵상
하나님께서 우리들에게 내리신 많은 복을 살펴보시고, 참으로 놀라운 은혜를 주신 하나님께 감사를 드리면서, 왜 하나님께서 그토록 많은 복을 우리에게 주셨는가 질문해 봅시다. 오늘의 성경 말씀과 창세기 12:2절에서 아브라함을 부르실 때에 분명히 밝히셨던 영적인 중요원칙에 대해 기억해야 할 것입니다: 하나님의 백성들이 복을 받은 이유는, 그들 자신이 (다른 이들에게도) 복이 되기 위해서입니다. 우리들이 하나님의 복을 받는 수혜자만 될 것이 아님을 확실히 해두어야 합니다. 그런 복이 다른 이들에게 흘러가도록 실천하는 복의 통로가 되도록 합시다.
Thoughts on Today's Verse...
As we examine our blessings and thank God for his wonderful grace, let's ask why God has blessed us so much. Let's also remember the primary spiritual principle God made clear in today's Scripture and his call to Abraham (Genesis 12:1-3). God blesses his people so that they will be a blessing to others. Let's make sure we are not merely recipients of God's blessings; let's be conduits of those blessings to others so that they can join us in our praise and thanksgiving for our wonderful and generous Father in heaven.

관대하신 아버지 하나님, 아버지께서 아낌없이 부으시는 많은 선물들로 감사를 드립니다. 제 눈을 여셔서 그런 복들을 제 주변에 필요로 하는 사람들에게 어떻게 나누어줄 수 있을지 깨닫게 하여 주시옵소서. 제게 풍성히 나누어주신 그 복을 사람들과 나눌 때에 다른 이들이 아버지의 가장 위대한 복—아버지의 사랑하시는 은혜—을 발견하고 아버지께 감사드릴 수 있기를 원합니다. 예수님의 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.
My Prayer...
Thank you, generous Father, for lavishly blessing me with so many blessings. Please open my eyes to see how I can pass on those gifts to those around me — especially those who most need them. As I share the blessings you have so lovingly given me, may others find their greatest blessing of all — your loving grace — and may they give thanks to you in Jesus' name, I pray. Amen.
