O que você enxerga com mais clareza hoje? É aquilo que é visto ou não visto? Não importa nosso sistema de fé, temos que confiar (crer) naquilo que não vemos. Mesmo o cientista mais ateu confia na gravidade, respira o ar e conta com princípios que não vemos até produzirem resultados tangíveis da percepção humana. Como cristãos, não acreditamos que o mundo visível seja tão real como o invisível. O mundo visível está sujeito à morte, doenças, desastres, decomposição, desordem e morte. Não sei sobre você, mas se não há mais permanência do que isso, não é muito real. Quero algo no que possa me agarrar. Isso requer que eu olhe além do visível para encontrar meu Pai que é invisível. Ele é o único que garante o invisível!
Thoughts on Today's Verse...
What can you see most clearly today? Is it what is seen in the physical world or what is unseen in the spiritual world? No matter your belief system, you ultimately have to trust what we can't see. Even the most atheistic scientists trust gravity, breathe air, and depend upon principles they cannot see until they produce results in the tangible world of human perception. But as Christians, we don't believe the seen world is more real than the unseen world. The seen world is subject to disease, disaster, decay, disorder, and death. I don't know about you, but if what I believe in isn't any more permanent than that, it's not a dependable place to put my trust. I want something, or better yet, someone who is strong, enduring, and sure. That requires me to look past the seen world to find my unseen Father. He guarantees the unseen!

Eterno Pai e Deus de todos os povos, ajude-me a enxergar com mais clareza o mundo espiritual, eterno e real do invisível. Não estou procurando novidades, nem o bizarro. Só quer lhe conhecer, e conhecer a sua verdade e seu caráter para que possa mostrá-los de maneira mais apropriada para outros e ajudá-los a encontrar o Senhor no mundo do invisível. My Prayer...
O, eternal Father and God of all peoples, please help me see the spiritual, immortal, and dependable realities only found in you. I am not seeking novelty or on some quest for the bizarre. I only want to know you, your truth, and your character. I yearn for these, so I may more appropriately display them to others and help them find you. Please enable me to be a more effective witness to you as I seek to reach others. I pray in the name of Jesus and to the praise of your glorious grace. Amen.
