Jesus nos ensinou que não importa o lugar do nosso louvor, e sim que prestamos louvor ao Pai (João 4:21-24). Sabendo que nosso Pai é louvado pelos hostes celestiais deveria nos inspirar, humilhar e motivar para fazer o mesmo, não importa o lugar onde estamos. Acima de todas as outras qualidades, Deus é santo. Três vezes os seres celestiais reconhecem a santidade de Deus – Ele é especial, sem mácula, puro, perfeito – algo muito mais do que cotidiano e mundano. Sua glória enche a terra e os céus. Ele é maior do que tudo que podemos imaginar. Ele é digno do nosso louvor, reverência e respeito.
Thoughts on Today's Verse...
Jesus taught us that worship is not about a place but about our Father (John 4:21-24). Knowing that the heavenly hosts worship our Father should inspire, humble, and motivate us to do the same, no matter where we find ourselves. Above all other qualities, God is holy. The heavenly beings acknowledge his holiness three times: "Holy, holy, holy...!" Why? Because God is unique, undefiled, pure, perfect, and unparalleled. Nothing in our everyday and mundane world measures up to the Lord Almighty. His glory fills the earth and sky. He is more significant than all we can imagine. He is worthy of our worship, reverence, and awe.

Santo Deus, Santo Pai, Santo Rei dos reis, Te louvo pelo maravilhoso presente da sua graça. Sei que em comparação à sua glória, não sou digno de estar na sua presença. Mas o Senhor me fez digno e santo através do sangue sacrifical de Jesus, o Cordeiro morto pelos meus pecados. Obrigado por este incrível presente dado para que eu possa louvar a Te como devo! My Prayer...
Holy God, Holy Father, Holy King of the ages, I praise you for the beautiful gift of your grace. I know that compared to your glory, I am not worthy to be in your presence. But you have made me worthy — "holy in his sight, without blemish and free from accusation" (Colossians 1:22) — by the sacrificial blood of Jesus, the Lamb slain for my sins. Thank you for this incredible gift so I may worship you as I should and long to do! In Jesus' name, I praise you. Amen.
